Folklore Floral Scarf with Bird of Peace

Modeled after the size and weight of everyone’s favourite vintage French scarves, the goal was to create chic, easy to wear designs for every day use. Crafted from viscose, the fabric is a lighter, airier weight than that of their sister kimono designs, with the same beautifully soft feel. They make a wonderful gift too! Folklore is our fairytale celebration of the Arts & Crafts movement. The printed Bird of Peace comes from an original hand stitched work by fiber artist Kim Donohoe. The background panels come from unfinished works created in 1885 by artist William Morris, whose original pencil sketch lines can be seen where the designs remain incomplete. These were left  in intentionally, to celebrate the profound beauty of the artistic process.

• 100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo)
