These beautiful bags are hand woven by women from their homes in the Tenganan Village of Eastern Bali out of ata vines, which are indigenous to the area. After the weaving is complete, each bag dries under the sun for days before being hung over a fire - the smoke and heat provides the gorgeous golden color. This process ensures that each bag is durable and made to last a life time.
